What a special time, it was the ten year anniversary of Spring Fairy Festival. The biggest highlight for me, my mom got to be with us. It was her first time attending any of the events that I vend at, it was fun having her there. The second highlight, a darling little fairy stopped by my booth to give me a pretty drawing for being a prettiest fairy. Yes, it was a total awwww moment for me. 😀  The third was for the gentlemen who walked into the festival off the street and wanted to look like he belonged there.. You sir, made my day, I love it when a man of a certain age has the confidence to put a sparkling blue crown over his stetson!

A big thank you to Angela from Crescent Moon Gifts for always hosting such a terrific event. I am sending lots of love out to my dedicated lovers of crowns, I have several of you now who are getting quite The Frolicking Nymph collection. Thank you so much for loving what I do, I promise to keep things changing. Also thank you for all of the ooh’s and ahh’s that just stop in front of our booth, for the wives that drag their husbands over to ask him if he likes a crown on you, all of you are just amazing.

I have a little break now between events but you will find us at 2nd Star  August 5&6th at Dorris Ranch in Springfield, OR.

Recently we were lucky and vended at Fall Fantasy Faire, it was raining, windy, sunny, and so many lovely creatures came out to show support in the amazing fall weather.. We had a magical time, the entertainment was wonderful, the helpers go above and beyond if you need them, and the owner of the show drops by to say hi and check on your experience.

It has been to long since I updated here on our web site, my apologies. The Frolicking Nymph was busy moving into a permanent space in our new home, it is ours, no more moving. I have enough space for my very own work room, it is wonderful to be able to spread my wings.

I put several vending events on hold because of this, we did attend Faerie Worlds in their new location. It was all kinds of soggy, muddy,rain filled, magical fun. We were tucked back around a bend in the trees, I promise we weren’t hiding, just a hard spot to find us in. We are hoping to vend one more event this season, it is coming up on the 19th in Tacoma, Crescent Moon Gifts presents the 1st Annual Fall Fantasy Faire from 10 AM to 6 PM.

Once all the events are done for the season I will be focusing on product that I will put up on Etsy. For now we hope you have had a wonderful summer, talk with you all later.

The Frolicking Nymph

Venturing out into new venues has been a magical experience. I keep learning something new, which in turn helps me to improve and move forward with what I deem to be.. An artist, I make wearable art.

Thank you to the art collectors that do not know that is what you are buying from me. It might not be a painting or a marble sculpture but this is how I see myself. How I describe my work, is that it is wearable art, as unconventional as it might be.

The Frolicking Nymph has been well received by many different venues, the last one being I Heart Rummage’s Garage which is held during The Fremont Solstice Fair. We have never had so many wonderful people pass our booth before. It was so much fun 🙂  

We are planning to keep bringing you wearable art, we are hoping to add more venues, and hope to see you stop by to say hello. We will be vending at Faerieworlds July 25th, 26th, and 27th, you can find us in Neverworlds under the trees. We hang out with Nymbol and his friends there.  See you soon.

It all started with an invite, from someone outside of our usual circle. In trying to have my business be more connected, I joined some forums on the local happenings going on around the Seattle area that I might be able to participate in. Well Dave found me, from Oddmall, I received an email to be a vendor. I was so excited because my work is speaking for itself now, I love that this is taking on a life of it’s own. 

We enjoyed ourselves, Oddmall has everything handcrafted that you can imagine and somehow we fit right in. We had our booth all set up, I love hearing all of the oohs, and the it lights up. Yes most of my crowns light up and all of our wings as well. Two full days of selling my wearable art to fantastic individuals. I loved it, from the nervous beginning, all the way through the sad we already have to pack up. 

Two very special fairies known to the Seattle area are now owners of Frolicking Nymph creations. Thank you Fairy Princess Lolly and The Fremont Fairy for choosing my creations to help make your world more magical. We were also interviewed for a blog for Geek Radio. Also made some wonderful new connections and have some exciting new opportunities coming up. 

Thank you everyone for all of your wonderful support, we plan to have many new and interesting creations for your enjoyment. Be on the look out for us. 🙂

What an adventure we had, thank you for having us. Spring Fairy Festival was our first non Faerie Worlds event, we are branching out and exploring where we can vend. We arrived to set up and start the day, it was a little slow in the beginning, which of course always is. Everyone wants to look around and decide what it is they want to buy. Come mid day we were busy all the way through the end of day 1. I am so happy that so many of you took home your very own faerie crown. Day 2 was just as busy, fantastic entertainment, great crowds, and many crowns left to their new homes. 🙂

We had many inquiries about weddings, I had never even considered this an option but with what I make it does make some sense. So we are going to explore at least 1 wedding show this year to see how it all goes. We have a lot to look forward to, we will be vending at Oddmall this May/June in Everett. We are looking into several other events as well. As always we hope to see you and thank you for all of your support.
